Why don't you just get her brakes repaired? Why mask the problem and create a bigger one?

if you are paying alimony and your relationship ended badly, let the brakes squeak. may mean they are going. LOL. sorry I am in the middle of a fight with hubby, I thought I might take my vengenece out here. I would contact a mechanic for the right grease. Have a great day!

No grease. It's time for a repair job. Don't second guess those suckers. They only need to fail ONCE...then again, maybe that's your goal.

I think she needs new breaks if that's what you are talking about. Metaphor? maybe you should pay your alimony and child support. that's probably the cause of the squeak!
