Your experiences make you stronger. Learn from the past, and move forward. Don't regret things you have done in your life...even if they were dumb. Regretting things won't help anything and will only make you feel bad about your decisions in life. Take everything as a learning experience and use what you have learned to help others. Good luck!

Sorry to hear about your past. Abuse mentally or physically is so wrong and hurtful to the one receiving it. The best thing to do is get yourself into some great counselling. Find yourself once again meaning your identity etc. We must all know what we're made of and what we stand for. I know people that have gone through abuse and it takes a length of time to heal from it. Focus on what makes you happy and get out and socialize with good people that live a healthy life. Being involved in some kind of activity is a good thing. Set goals for yourself for the future and don't hang out with losers! Most of all LOVE YOURSELF and be happy. Cocoa

It is hard, let me tell you that but you can move on. I know right now it feels like there is no way or hope of moving on but just strive for happiness. Make happiness to be your goal. Tell yourself that you are tired of being sad and you miss being happy. Strive for joy. That's the only way.
I lost my family in war and sometimes it's difficult or it seems pointless to move on and at other times it's easier but just know that there is a lot to live for.
Do not loose your hope nor your faith. Trust in God and He will make it alright. God bless you.
