Back in December, my wife and I decided to start looking for a piece of property to build a non-profit school on and I contacted this agent online.
As it turns out, the agent is a young woman, not ugly, but not a real beauty either.
How can I end this nightmare?
My wife was snooping in my unread e-mails and asked why this lady wanted to e-mail me.
I told her to read the e-mail after I took a look, it was only a listing for a condo, which we weren't interested in.
She refused to look.
She constantly brings the woman's name up, as the woman is a persistant saleslady and calls, e-mails and texts me every week to look at one property or other, (which I don't go to see).
I told the woman that my wife was jealous of her, but the woman tells me that my wife is the one who contacted her to tell me about the properties.
We are together pretty every minute and I couldn't cheat even if I wanted to.
Also, I am a white American and my wife is a Filipina, we live in the Philippines.

Jealously in this case is probably understandable. There are two things that are essential here; first tell the real estate lady to stop calling/contacting all together. There are two million real estate people in the world and I'm sure you can find a fat old man out there. Also it doesn't sound like she's doing a great job if she's sending you things you're not even interested in going and looking at.
Second, it's time to reassure your wife of her status.Being around her isn't enough, do something really romantic with her and make sure she knows she's the only one not because she happens to be there all of the time but because she's wonderful.
Good luck, and it's nice to see a guy out there that's not cheating!

Your wife seems to have very low self esteem. So i agree with everyone else, just get a different agent. And this agent sounds to pushy, so yea, that is what i would do. And take your wife out for a nice dinner. good luck.

Put yourself in her place and see how you would feel if it was the other way around. To be jealous is no fun for her.If you really love your wife get another real esate person that is a man.Help her out don't just try to prove a point for her not to be jealous.I have been jealous before and it is so bad your imagation runs away with you when you don't want it to.So just help her.

Wow I feel sorry for the agent who is just doing her job. Your wife contacted her so if the wife doesn't like it maybe she should be the one who calls and tells her you no longer want her assitance...which would be rude after all her hard work, realitors don't get paid unless they close on a property.

So, find another agent, this time a man so your wife wont be upset. People do it all the time and you do not owe your agent an explanation. Good luck.

just give your wife more attention she might feel insecure because the agent is younger and your wife might think that you are attracted to her for this reason. just reassure your wife that she is the only one for you Good Luck

You and your wife need some marriage counseling. Jealousy is ugly, and will cause serious problems in a relationship if let go.
