Film- for me is Dr. No. Not just because it was the first one but it was made in the country where I was born.
Book- Casino Royale. this movie is also slowly climbing up my favorites chart

All time best Bond film in my opinion is Gold finger i thought the crimanal plot was good it had the best hench,Odd Job.best banter from Bond and oh yeah the best name for a bond girl.
