Youkilis is off to a good start and is helping the Rex Sox win some games early in the season. With that being said, he is not going to get more votes than Morneau or Teixeira both with 15 home runs this season and name recognition to the casual fan. Remember, your own David Ortiz will have to go as a first baseman this year, no DH in a national league park.

Yes... you can write in King Kong if you want to.
If you feel Kevin Youkilis really deserves to be there, sure, write his name in. Doesn't hurt. I've always felt that all names at all positions should be left blank. But it's a lot easier and faster to tabulate the way MLB does it now.

Yea Garko and Youkilis, both deserve to be all stars but they have Hafner and Ortiz blocking their path. I don't know who I'll vote for there.

He is batting really well, 19game hit streak, batting in runs, scoring runs, few HR, OBP.
But its a NL ballpark, Ortiz etc..
Best bet is the 25th man ballot.

I will put for names into a hat: Youk, Garko, Hafern, Ortiz. And whoever I pull out gets my vote!
