i'm australian, i dunno if americans and such use the word legend, for a person. As in saying "you're a legend" .. like you're the best, etc.
Just wondering, is it australian?
And i dont mean the word legend meaning mythical legends or whatever.

Meaning Of The Word Legend

Primarily, it is an English word, although its origin is Latin. As with many words, different cultures give the same word a unique shading in meaning. Sometimes that can produce an entirely new meaning that is limited to one culture. The specific use of legend that you describe is not limited to Australia however and so would not qualify its categorization as Australian.

If this wasn't so sad I would laugh. This coming from a man whose country allowed terrorists to bomb an opposing team & killed several people in the process? A man whose team hasn't won more than a mickey mouse cup in years? A man whose top bowler (Shaoib) made records while on performance enhancing drugs & who is now suffering from an STD? This is pure sour grapes from another 'sore loser'.
