It could be misconduct or even gross misconduct depending upon what was breached, how and why. It could even be criminal, again depending.

I would think that it was a breach of whatever data that was disclosed!

Usually you have to sign a document that says you are not allowed to tell or speak of matters from the office or where ever you are working etc.

So maybe in a way yes to misconduct, but am not sure what you mean in which context..

A police officer , lawyer , doctor , etc can and should lose his job if he shares anyones private details which he may have privileged access to .
