One of my fav magazines is BUST - edited by Debbi Stoller, knitting goddess and writer of Stitch "N" ***** (one of the world's best knitting books among other things.)

Each issue has at least one craft to do and scads of adverts for people making all kinds of things. Check them out - if only for ideas and inspiration. They do have a website. Gotta love a grlls mag that embraces the kitchy need in all of us.

Would also recomend craftster.org

Kitsch just means it's thrown together from different things. So whatever you come up with from your own imagination, is kitsch. If you follow someone else's parts list and instructions, that's the opposite of kitsch.

Also if you google, their are many artists showing off their kitsch, so you could copy them, but then your copies would no longer be kitsch.
