Charlie wouldnt have died there because where the guy had te hand grenade it wouldn't have worked. Because the fuse would have got wet so it wouldnt explode thats why grenades don't work underwater.

Here's betting that two years from now we'll find out that it was all a secret plot by the remaining members of DHARMA to regain control of the island, Charlie's death was a mere illusion, and Charlie and Desmond have been working for the company the whole time.

Yeah it was a bit of a stupid death. I'm getting fed up with Charlie's character and the whole 'will he die' thing, so I'm not that upset. It was a great finale though.

Charlie was a good character and got a good send off. Tom deserved to be shot by Sawyer, he had it coming for a long time.

charlies death was pointless, he could of survived all he had to do was be in the same side as desmond- that door would of stopped the water comming to the side desmond was on.
