Best thing to do would be to run the Network Wizard and do not allow file/printer sharing on your pc.

User accounts and screen saver password
go to
start
control panel
user accounts
do settings your way
you can set up so they can not view your info
create them pass words
you can delete or change passwords at any time you want to
password protected screen saver is good
i use it my self
do this by
close all windows
right click on open area of desk top
choose properties
choose screen saver
choose password protect on resume
this will be your password as you are the administrator
be sure to set the time for screen saver to come on

You can also get routers that block the wireless users from the LAN. Many are out there for this..
I like the AirEpoch gateway routers for this. Also allows user management to control who does get on to the wifi.

If you are only worried about users on other machines, as long as you set up no shared folders there is nothing for them to see, also your firewall by default should block file and printer sharing.

Very Simple do not allow sharing on your computer
In addition to you can turn on your xp sp2 firewall
