It was made a cake! It consisted of....
180 eggs, 100kg of flour, 100kg of caster sugar, a huge vat of chocolate sauce, 30kg of almonds, 65kg of dried fruit make the 'crispy cake' mix for the car's bodywork, 448 Madeira 'brick cakes' to form the foundation, yards of licorice was used to create the fanbelt, windscreen wipers and aerial. The paintwork is fondant icing, coloured with 180kg of orange sugar paste, moulded around the crispy cake panels, the radiators were 60 chocolate blocks, the headlights were boiled sweets, the fog lights were made of meringue and the tyres were made from chocolate icing. Finally, the rear lights were made of jelly.
The whole thing cost £500'00!

well i didnt think it was but apparently they said it was made out of real cake on tv!....but even if it is made out of cake they wouldnt make seats and all or make it solid the whole way through, it would probably be some sort of frame with just enough cake to see the extererior side that is facing us...so in cocnclusion, yes it is but not to the extremes that we would hope for
hope i helped!

Yes it is. I love that advert. There was a piece in the paper about it. The whole thing was cake. And was given to a charity afterwards.

If only real cars were made of cake....wouldn't be a problem with recycling then would there...imagine eating your tyres when the tread had worn down...or when a windscreen is replaced you just put custard on the old one....Oh joy...

yes it is, and the people in the advert are real bakers. Skoda thought it important to have them in it as it was such a big project and they thought they should have recognition
Read an article about it in a mag

Yes it took something stupid like four days and 1/2 million quid, the headlights are made from Fox's Glacier Mints, the grille from Cadbury's flakes, the rear lights are made from jelly and yes it is edible though obviously not for long under intense studio lights.

via fact the motor vehicle had taken somewhat some days to end under very superb lights no person grew to become into waiting to consume any of it. relatively, a number of the extra resiliant aspects (stuff created from marzipan etc.) like the wing mirrors have been bumped off and vacuum sealed with the aid of the creators to maintain them and the rest grew to become into taken to a recyling plant the place it grew to become into grew to become into compost. information owing to Jo Whiley on Radio a million...
