It sounds like your not satisfied? are you? normal is what's best for you. There's no set limit. A friend of yours may be every night, like they're trying to wear it out. That's a little much but, not abnormal.
Try something new. Foreplay sometimes can be better then the actual penetration and can heighten the act. Foreplay can really be the action your after. Try it slow and easy, give it a chance.

If she works or if the kids are home all day, are you helping once you get home. The only reason that I can see this happen is that she is so tired and stressed out. I would try to help more, IF this is not the case, then you all need to talk to someon if she won't open up to you. No- it is not normal to have sex three times a month.

Yes it is normal, but it might cause your marriage to become rocky. I have 2 daughters and sex got boring, once a month was too much for me, maybe because I had children, and my marriage got so rocky it was unbelievable. We decided to spice it up a bit, won't go into any details, but you can use your imagination. Try it! It worked! Now we can't wait for the kids to go to bed. Anything goes, your wildest dreams may even come true.

It is not how many times u have sex, it is satisfaction physically and mentally.
If you are satisfied even once a month is ok. Hvaing sex frequently and not getting satisfaction is of no use.

Well that isn't much but when you are working it can become something you just dont have the effort for even though you do enjoy it. Sometimes you just want to go to sleep. I am sure your husband loves you and is just exhausted.
