Here in Florida, we have been having a drought but that is normal for spring and winter season. What makes it wierd is the higher than normal drought we've had. Its the worst drought in the state of Florida since 1998.

I've been to Australia before, it's no where near as 'weird' as the weather here in the Gulf, Middle East. No one can predict anthing here, whether forecast is bullshittt! Last year, it was too cold in the winter to an extent that people were buying heaters! this did not happen since the 1960's. And now, the heat has started (45C degrees) since May, although in the past years it usually started in July!

I have noticed some weirdness here. Luderitz has an annual average rainfall of 0-1mm. Last summer in two days 150mm was recorded. Elsewhere around Namibia even the rivers were flowing (they are called rivers but are in fact dry river courses). This summer there was about 80% less than average rainfall. Now it is winter. One day it was summer and the next day the temparature dropped from 36C to an average of about 10C - almost as if a switch had been thrown. This is bizarre!

Windy and Raining. There's still a lot of snow on the mountains for this time of the year. It heated up early, and then it started raining, and got windy and it's running over into our summer weather. So yeah...It's weird.

Here in South Texas Ive seen droughts, floods, snow, hail the size of golfballs, temps as high as 106F (horrible with our high humdity), temps as low as 10F(REALLY horrible considering strong winds due to flat plains), tornadoes, hurricanes, dust storms, and winds as high as 75 mph on any given day depending on location.
