One is teaching you the theory of evolution and the other is teaching you christiananity. Two separate things that are not allowed to be taught together. The government says that a school teacher cannot teach christiananity regardless of personal or student beliefs. That is why you go to church. You have the choice of believing evolution or rejecting it, but your science teacher cannot comment on it. Legally, he is not allowed. He has to say that we come from apes or he can lose his job and even find himself in court over teaching religion in a public classroom.
