not intentionally
but if some reasons are there
lady should also understand the problems of her man and give her space instead of complains and pressure
lady should take her tired hand and give are calm and warm love
he will also feel good and keep very very happy

If you mean being late for a date, I would say no coz it's never nice to keep someone waiting and you're supposed to be on time anyway.
If however, something urgent crops up and there's no way you can get there on time, it's only proper to inform your lady beforehand so she wouldn't be waiting in vain.
of course, the same thing goes for the ladies as well.

No it's not, unless some emergency comes up & then you can phone to say why you are late. I really show up too early. It's just a habit. I hate waiting ages for someone to show up, so I like to be on time for others.
