Yes, it's like footballers committing assault (if not abh) on the pitch - a public place and no police action is taken.

Yes. Its not fair that there seems to be one rule for celebrities and another rule for joe public. If they do the crime they should do the time. They are not above the law, and they shouldn't be given a better deal just because they have stared in a few films or have had a few number one hits

Without a doubt, it is not fair, they may as well have a separate court system for them, it is a waste of time in the regular system. The law apparently does not apply to them anyway so why bother. IF they do actually get any time it is like going to a country club so what lesson do they learn? It is very frustrating

O MY GOSH YES!!!!! its soo stupid JUST because they are celebs they can do anything they want. and what bothers me the most is that the reason they dont do anything about it is because they think the people of America will get mad and its true some people will but all the judge is saying is wheather he says it word for word or not he's saying ''ok your not guilty because your famous and i dont want people to get mad so your free to go'' its just sad how people are like that and its wrong. like i am a absolute fan of Orlando Bloom but if he did something that was against the law ide say '' heck you did something wrong go to jail'' sorry i know that was kinda long but i think the word needs to be sent out. and in some cases like Paris Hilton she didnt even get a month in jail JUST because she is famous and the judge didnt want suspiscioun from the court but he didnt want anyone to be mad at him so he gave her like 20 days. well like i said sorry it was long but yea anyways hope that helps

Yes. Why shouldn't they pay the penalty like any other mere mortal. Would really love to see a photo of Paris Hilton in prison. Make more headlines than her getting off free. Bet she would end up selling her story to one of the big magazines though and get even more cash.

Yeah, the law should be the same for everyone, young or old, rich or poor, famous or ordinary, clever or stupid.
I think there should be fixed penalties for every crime, that way everyone gets the same punishment irregardless of their position, money or connections.

Totally, the same way that murderers and rapists can get away with it due to a stupid twist that their lawyers find. And then they do it again.
