I think the all star weekend already packed with all the events possible to show case the stars skills. I don't think I will add in any more event to the current one. But just for a crazy thought, maybe invite the And1 StreetBall team to play against NBA all-stars with street rules.

I like rastabudd's idea of a one-on-one tournament, that would be hot.

How about a game of the NBA All-Stars vs. the a Euroleague All-Star team, for no reason otther than to give NBA fans a chance to see the top Euro players who may join the NBA in the future.

Right now, unless you have NBATV or watch the international tournaments every 2 years or so, fans in the US never get to see much of the international players and it would cool to have an opportunity to see them every year in the US.

Just for fun how bout a HORSE tournament with the best shooters like steve nash, mike bibby, Derron Williams, Kobe, Ben Gordon, Ray Allen, Adam Morrison, and so on.

Oh yeah, and how bout they bring this thing back that was once realy popular called the SLAM DUNK CONTEST, i'm tired of no namers who will never be heard from again competing for the title of best dunker in the nba. If i had my choice it would be between LeBron, Kobe, Amare Staudemire, T-Mac, Gerald Wallace, and D-Wade

American NBA players V. International NBA players.

USA
Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Tim Duncan, Shaq

World
Steve Nash, Manu Ginobili, AK-47, Pau Gasol, Yao Ming

It wouldn't be that great now, but in a few years it'll be more competitive.

There should be a legends game like before but there should be an age limit. Ex-players who retired because of injuries shouldn't play so that what happened to Norm Nixon & David Thompson years ago occurs again. Which was why the game was eliminated.

A one-on-one or may be a two-on-two tournament. Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O'Neal versus Houston Rockets' Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming can be a god match.

I'd like to see a one-on-one tournament. Invite the biggest and best names in the league. See which ones show up to back up their hype, and which ones pull the injury card.

i think they should let the fans pick 6 players for a slam dunk contest and and have the league make it mandatory that the players participate.
