I never knew that psi wheels are sensitive to light. I've never heard of that before...
I think it might have something to do with your subconscious. Your eyes could be playing tricks on you when the lights are off, but I don't think that's the case here.
Every person is different, so it could just be that you have an easier time moving the psi wheel when it's dark. Just like some people can perform better at... Let's say pen spinning (the kind with the tournaments, not the paranormal kind (; ) when it's night.
You might be better at PK when it's night or when it's dark.
You could experiment with this :)
