I prefer Trista. Tristina is a bit much.

I think it's a ridiculous, ugly name. Too many parents are trying to make their children "original" by coming up with "original" names. Your daughter will be going by Trish as soon as she's old enough to talk, so why bother with something so silly as Tristina?

It doesn't sound too much like a princess name, but it does sound a little confusing..

Would the male form of the name be Tristan? A female form of Tristan would be less confusing as Tristanna.

Tristina sounds a lot like Christina, and I can imagine there would be a lot of automatic misspellings during her life.

tristina sounds like it came from the word trinity. It sounds like Trinity college which is a prestigious Liberal arts college located in Hartford...nice name! sounds kinda royal!

I know a lot about Royality and I have never came across A Queen, Princess, Grand Duchess or plain Duchess with this name.

So no doesnt sound and isnt like a princess' name.
