I am 56 and have one older brother who is 21 mo older than I and we were like twins. We had so much fun together and I am female but was quite the tomboy. I have always adored him and we fought like regular brothers and sisters. WE don't fit the birth order issue, I am younger, more agressive more outgoing etc. but I love him more than anyone in the world. When one has a tight bond with a sibling over the years, they are they ones who have traveled your life as close as possible and can share with you in an instant and process your current issues without you having to explain your entire life time. I consider him my most loved person on the face of the earth. I think if the sibling bond is this tight, then it is the tighest and doesn't have the sexual issues that marriage does, they are different but that sibling experienced the same family life and pets and everything.
