I wouldn't recommend doing it til you talk to your dr as well to see what they think.

The first answer is a good one! However, if the scar is raised when it heals you should still be carefull when you shave over it.

You can but wait until it's completely healed and there's no scabbing left. Shavng over the scab will cause delayed healing, bleeding and possibly infection. Until it's healed over, shave around it.
