A) Side is 7 cm. So Volume is 7X 7 X 7 = 343 cc
B) 2n + 172 = ? Without any equality, there can't be a solution.
C) 0.035 = 3.5 X 10^-2 and 34.067 = 3.4067 X 10^1

A) The volume of a cube is length times width times height. So, 7x7x7=343 cubic cm.
B) 2n+172 isn't an equation. It needs to be equal to something before it can be solved. (Like 2n+172=0 or something)
C) a) 3.5x10^-2
b) 3.4x10^1

for (B) If it's =o then n= -86
2n+172=0
2n= -172
n= -172/2
n= -86
