Just like Amanda in "The Holiday" movie, I want to become a trailer maker or TV commercial maker (not a 3D designer cause' I'm not good at design, just create an idea or creative thing). And I don't know which major I have to learn, which college or University has the course. I even don't know a name of this job in English. Could you please help me?

Thank you in advance.

Like most jobs in the entertainment industry you have to know someone.

It's not a course you take in college.

It's on the job training, if you find a mentor. You should live in L.A. or NYC, as this is where most of the commercials and movies are produced and where you can get experience.

How do you expect them to make money if they stop advertising. If you don't advertise you get forgotten about and you lose to the advertising competitor. In the grand scheme of things advertising is only a very small % of the issue. Revising structure, UAW agreements, lean processes etc will save more money much faster. interestingly Ford just post a 2.1 billion profit for Q2.
