For Americans, we were taught 'color'. However, the UK is 'colour' and 'theatre' versus 'theater'. I think the UK is more elegant but, oh well, things are ALWAYS changing. Thanks for asking!!!

both are correct.........goes with the mood...lol. If you feel like american then it's 'color' and being british prefers 'colour'. Come to think of it...mouthful...isn't it..lol

In Australia we spell it COLOUR.
same with words like honour, glamour, favourite etc. Also we spell words like apologise with the S, not Z. I don't know why it's different. It can make things hard around here, you get slammed for supposed spelling mistakes.
