such ppl don't understand the language of convincing. They are the kings of their own world which they have made around them. And ppl who do understand you never have to convince them. So why waste your energy. If he is really that bad someday he will come to understand how wrong he was.

As far I can see, you must be a close friend of his seeing that you want to change him.
Try to give him the message slowly, like a family member would because trying to crush his pride harshly will only make him lash out at out at you.
A time will come when he notices that people are keeping from him due to his arrogance, until then, hard though it may be, stay at his side.

Have him compete against other talented men but not women. Women's standard's must be judged on a lower scale and not compared with men's such as the Oylimpics, sports, etc. Besides, women should only be into sports such as volleyball, putt putt, and tennis but not for money or competition.
