Yep. Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11 and no WMDs were found. They posed no threat to us even though we invaded them.
I bet the majority of people who believe Iraq was behind 9/11 are regular Fox News viewers.

Yes I do know that. But they did have WMDs and they meant to use them. Also, in the 90s a resolution was passed by the congress and signed by president clinton making regime change in Iraq a matter of US National policy. President Bush was carrying forward part of the Democratic agenda not the Republican.

I for onwe am tired of hearing the blame be put on bush adminitration. When 9/11 occured no one said Irag was behind it. What was said is that we, the american people, must unite to fight terroism where ever it is. Iraq had rearmed and had invaded Kuwait, At the request of the Saudia Arabian government and the government of Kuwait the USA and it's allies went to their aid and pushed back Iraq and this time did not stop until the rulers who had initiate the action were removed from power.
what we have now is a policing action to try to stablize the country. Unfortunately we still have factions withon the country that want to bring back tyrancial rule and continue the genicide of there apposing factions.

To the best of my knowledge, no evidence currently exists to support the theory that Iraq planned 9/11. Further, to the best of my knowledge, no evidence of WMD production has been found, and actually, the task force charged with finding WMD has been disbanded.
Now my question: You stated your desired outcome as part of your question. Don't you think you have targeted those who will reply? I hope you do not intend to use the results of this as an objective poll.
Further, I doubt many of us that respond can determine whether or not the decision to invade Iraq evolved from faulty intelligence, personal ambition within the White House, a means to perpetuate the Republican agenda, a business conspiracy in America, or mind control from alien life forms.
Let's examine the facts first to make logical political decisions; history will tell the rest of the story.

I don't think Iraq was blamed for the 9/11 attacks. Almost immediately Osama Bin Rag-head was blamed, and pursued in Afghanistan/Pakistan regions. Iraq was known to have terrorists ties to practically all the radical islamic groups, but not blamed for the 9/11 situation. The folks that did the deeds were Saudi Arabians almost to the man, I think there were a couple from other places but almost all were Saudi.

absolute know WMD. please when will Americans learn that the president, congress, senate only act on what they get from intelligence reports. Squeed as they me be. If someone F.........kd up than quit blaming one man. It takes Republicans, Democrats, Independents and non believers to make this world go round and there will always be the ones who hate America and what we stand for and the fact that we stand for each other no matter what so you can say what we want and blame who we want. As long as we continue to keep check on our government we are doing the right thing. Never lay back and be content that they (the governmnet) will do what is right. The power is with the people the majority just needs to quit letting the squeaky wheel send our message

It depends on how you define 'behind'. If rallying and dancing in the streets at Saddam's prompting, chanting 'death to all Americans' and the like don't indicate that they supported it, I don't know what does.
If you were paying attention throughout the Clinton reign, you would know that Saddam did everything within his power to make the world 'think' he had WMDs. Rather he was a lying or, not makes absolutely no difference to me, just as it made no difference to his rightful demise.

People like you make me sick. No Iraq was not behind 9/11 but you are kidding yourself if you think that there were absolutely NO WMDs. The plans were found you air head. I didn't hear one liberal propagandist complain when we found Sadam and had him in prison awaiting trial.

You can start pointing fingers again. And interrogate all. Make sure all admit. I saw the American president was shot by their own people.
John F. Kennedy was not shot by one person.
