I don't think he's bad at all. I think he's right on track, and the rest is a bunch of political propaganda. Unfortunately, some people like to believe in the worst and lib politicians just keep pouring out the crapola and the haters just lap it up. Keeps them from having to think for themselves or admit that there is a real world outside of their own political affiliations. I can't understand the kind of mindless hatred that lets them blank out the fact that alot of they're 'OWN' were in agreement with the President until the campaign propaganda started. Go Figure!!

He doesn't deserve it but unfortunately, he also, isn't friends with the press. To his credit, he doesn't see it as part of his job description to be.
The media will always slant and distort the facts to accommodate the public's need for sensationalism and popular whim. Bush is a man of conviction and not so readily susceptible to public pressure.
Nor, does he see following the polls to be inherent to his duties as Commander in Chief. He was elected to lead our country in the best possible direction based upon intelligence and the advice of experts privy to that intelligence, not emotion based public opinions and sentiment.
There are many who would alter the choices he has made to fit their personal preferences, agendas and ideologies and because they can't, they are outraged. There are many who fully believe that every decision made by the president should be held up to popular vote (as if that were even possible).
Bush is not bending to the foolishness of their outcries but is instead, doing an excellent job of fulfilling his job description as written. I think he's a great man and a great leader.
So to answer your question:
There are many who are indeed hiding from reality - the reality that Bush is doing his job as outlined, as opposed to allowing them to lead him around by the nose and that THAT is exactly what a man in the Oval Office is elected to do!

The crap started before he was even elected and has never stopped.
The leftist propaganda machine has run 24/7/365 at full throttle.
I date back to" Ike' and have never seen any president so vilified, damned and condemned.
To my mind He's been a damned good president ,faced with an extremely hard job at a bad time.

No I don't, the president has done the best he can. For purely political reasons people blame him.

President Bush bears a substantial portion of the blame. That is clear to see now as he refuses to reconcile military/political actions with facts.

People seem to forget (or maybe they just don't know) that the President does not have the final say in policy. Yes, he can veto a proposed bill, etc., but, if congress wants something bad enough, they can override his veto.

I believe he is a liar or a moron, or both. He is, without doubt, a meglomaniacal egotist with delusions of grandeur and a wannabe military man who plays with U.S. soldiers as if they were the little green plastic soldiers from his childhood - the first one that is.
He deserves all the bad press he is getting and orders of magnitude more.

NO!!!! George bush has repeatedly, and quite blatantly lied to us. Did not stay true to his word in the CIA leak or really any other time for that matter. is poisoning our environment killing our troupes, innocent Iraqi citizens, and the image seen by all other countries that America is generous and truly the best country. In fact since all this will probably be news to most of the people that read it the press is FAR FAR too kind to the tyrant we elected to not one but two terms in office

Your question rather simplifies a very complex situation.
You seem to be looking for a quick solution to a complicated reality based problem.
