Especially if you hate your job. Please explain if you are a mail man or i know someone... i bet it'd be annoying after a while. You deal with mail all day and then you mail and have to pay bills via mail... etc.

i carried mail on foot for 9 yrs. and i loved my job because of the customers and also the fact that once you get the mail sorted you can load up and leave the station. for the most part you are your own boss though the bosses constantly try to get you to carry more in less time. 3 hrs. in the office and 5 hrs. walking @ 15 miles daily. the only really bad things were the extreme temps. and the pain of carrying a 20-40 lb. mail bag on one shoulder. the most annoying thing about delivering mail is the same we feel about receiving it--tons of junk mail and advertisements. i hated delivering it and receiving it but i had no problem checking my own mail. besides bills, other items come in that everyone likes--letters from friends and family, cards, pictures, our favorite magazines, things we order. i never heard anyone in any of the the stations i worked at complaining about their regular mail, just the junk.
