I am married to the love of my life...my best friend. We get along perfectly and show eachother nothing but respect and kindness. I never knew marriage could be this way. Anyone else remarried and went through a horrible marriage before finding the perfect soul mate?

This is my 4th marriage! Each time I said never again. Drugs ruined the first 3, and this one , we are just too different . I am so happy for you, and I always wanted to be married to someone for ever and feel the way you do. Maybe I just expect too much or I seem to pick the losers. ♥

I was married 2 separate times when I was younger before I married my soul mate...
The trouble was we were both married to others before and had to get divorced before we could marry...
We decided we both married the wrong folks the first 2 times...
Now we have been married to each other almost 16 years...

I have been married five times, this one has lasted for over ten years, and now it is getting a little shaky, she is going through the change of life, and this driving me nuts, I never realized that something like this would change a fun loving woman into a cracker jack, she is always bitching at me for no reason.

well, dint you think the same thing when you were married the first time? til it 'went south' for w/e reason?? i wanna hear from you in 15 years...
marriage is ALWAYS gonna need to be fed, by both participants...who see their own needs not as clearly as they see the needs of the other...and the infatuation that is there in the beginning is great! and it can LAST! but, most days you gotta make it SURVIVE...the love part... see?

I was married before and I thought that it was great but then she abruptly ended it devastating me. I believe that I will find the right one for me someday and that will be the one that sticks. I am glad to hear that there are still people out there that are happily married.
