Sweetie, if his penis entered her vagina at all, she is not a virgin anymore. No matter whether she bled or not. Some females bleed their first time and some don't. Still, she needs to go to the nearest clinic or see a gynecologist, and get tested for any STDs.

She should see her gynecologist if she thinks she has something. If he put his penis in her vagina, regardless of how far he did or didn't put it in, she's no longer a virgin. What makes her think she's got something? She should always use protection, especially you girls under the age of 20 who really aren't responsible yet with having sex.

My best guess would be she is fairly safe if she has not had any symptoms so far. However this is NOT always true. She needs to go to a clinic and get tested.
You can pass this on to your friend from me: A condom should be worn from the point of FIRST CONTACT. This way both people will always be safe.

I am very sure she is ok.If he gave her a disease she would know by now.You both need to inform yourselves on sex.If she let him put his penis inside her things went too far.A little sex education is helpful to stop the worry.Always use protection!!! There are lots of nasty diseases out there, some can kill you!!Having a baby at a young age is no picnic either.Get some information from the school nurse or guidence councelor.

If she didn't bleed from the partial penetration then he didnt "pop her cherry" so she is still a virgin. As for the "catching something" if she has been itching, or leaking discharge that stinks or smells not right, then she may have gotten something especially if the guy has or had slept with a lot of other girls... If she is afraid, she needs to talk to her parents... Its better for them to know, so they can get her the medical attention needed, its okay to tell them, just make sure they know it was a year ago they didnt go all the way and she knows she made a mistake. If she is still afraid to talk to her parents talk to yours or to the school counciler... they are trained to help and it is confidential unless she says she wants the counciler to tell her parents.
