Hi,

Tonight while driving home from work, I noticed something -- my steering wheel seemed to slack a bit, and my call pulled to the left while accelerating/ driving at cruise speed; did not pull at all while braking, and pulled to the RIGHT while going in reverse to park.

The car is a 2002 Dodge Intrepid SE, 87k, and hasn't had any problems up until now. Can anyone tell me what they think? I HAVE to have my car for work and school, so I'm hoping that whatever is wrong can be fixed inexpensively (Dear God...)

Thanks so much!

If you just put tires on it, I would say that. Otherwise, front wheel alignment.

Slight pulling can be cause by low tire pressure. Thats what I rec. checking first. Then check to see if your tires are severely worn or even bald. If so relpace your tires have your suspension checked over for lose or worn parts. If it still pulls I rec. a simple 4 wheel alignment. Prices vary from place to place and remember you get what you pay for. Some places offer sales when u buy 4 tires u get a free alignment. So keep your eyes peeled and ears open for any deals.

You may have a problem with either the alignment on the left side or a brake problem, like brake caliper hanging up and not releasing. good luck. I don't think you'll be getting into a real big repair. Do get it fixed before you destroy a set of tires and add to the cost.
