Soldiers and Iraqis are dying because of sectarian hatred. The average Iraqi is just looking to survive the forces that are trying to pull civil society apart in that country. Despite any flaws around the US attempt to promote democracy in Iraq, it has been noble effort to free an oppressed people. Should we pull out and make the oppression of religous strife complete?
And here is my favorite typical response from the "compassionate" liberals...using a perjorative term for Mexicans so the President can give those jobs to Americans.
Really, these are such proud moments for me as an American when I hear such things....

Amusing... you've had "Democratic control" since the 2006 election !! However "your" Congress is just as indebted to corporate interests as the Republican congress.
I hate to beat a dead horse, but the WMD issue was through intelligence from a Democrat CIA head (Tenet) and supported and backed by President Clinton. President Clinton was the leader who demanded a change of regime in Iraq.
Yes, sadly we have Republicans who want illegals to remain... but it's the Democrats who supported "amnesty" the strongest.
What we REALLY need is a third party that takes the MIDDLE ground !!

The only way to do that, as there are no intervening elections, would be to arrange for Nancy Pelosi to take over. (You'll just love that!) Only two heartbeats in the way... Are you planning something?
Addendum: Impeach? You need constitutional grounds for that. Sorry, no cigar. Oh, that was another administration. Cancel that. Also, you'd still have to deal with the little detail of Mr. Cheney. Again, grounds?

It is your party who is championing the Amnesty bill. Sorry to disappoint you on that one. And don't let any of them catch you calling anyone a "wet back" those are poor humble people who need to be "taught" how to vote Democrat that is the most important thing here, just because a few have taken citizens jobs and abuse our sytem and are a drain on our assets don't mean nothin! Libs need their votes!! As far as the war in the middle east goes nope I am just too sleepy to even go there again with you. You are set in your beliefs on that one and it does go with your party but what about the confilict of ideas you seems to have with your party about illegal immagration?

why do we have to have a Democratic president?
why do we have to have a republican president?
how about we have an American president, NON PARTY!
and a NON PARTY government, how about we do away with the bickering and arguing by doing away with the parties and having a peoples government , the type of government this country was founded on, for the people by the people,
when will the American people learn to see the parties and the lobbyist and big business is ruining this country, get all that CRAP out of government and stop passing bills with out
an honest vote from the people, and see how much this country will improve

Your kind of all over the place here.
I dont think they're smarter than Americans. A free man defending his home land from an occupier will always be resourceful and, as history teaches, will always prevail.
