Muralitharan will be 39 years of age by the time next world cup takes place. I do not think his playing career will last till that time and as such he will not play the world cup 2011.

well,it is not sure that he will play the next world cup because in an recent interview he said that he will play two years more.from this i hope u can conclude something .but i want him to play more.Age doesn't matter to these excellent players.They will take wickets till the time they play.

I reckon that he will. He seems to be keeping himself fit.
The only thing that can stop him is a change in arm bending rules while bowling. Otherwise he looks set to do what is mentioned in the question statement.
