Hold off on that helicopter ride until your next visit to Los Angeles.
There is a helicopter charter company at the Van Nuys airport that gives 1 hour helicopter flying lessons. Wouldn't your experience in a helicopter be more fun if it was just you, and a cute instructor up there all alone, and YOU were the one actually flying the "chopper"?
The views of the "Valley" are fabulous. You also get a certificate & log book to prove to your doubting friends that you actually flew a helicopter.

I've been one one, but not in Vegas that was in Sydney. It depends which helicopter you will take. I chose the light adventurous one (The one looking like a fly with no doors). It is not scary at all, I took my wife with me, it's a thrill ride for sure, not bumpy unless its windy. Anyways don't worry, the pilot will not fly it unless the weather is fine and it's safe to fly.

I have been on the tour about 7 times since I was 7 and everytime its a new thrill you never really see alot cause your only on the copter for 20min but it depends on the person on how they will rate there exsperience the best place to go is at Hacienda casino which is right outside BoulderCity before you get to The Hover Dam, its only 29.99 per ride up to two poeple. have fun

Yes Oh god I love to ride on helicopter. Wow I saw UFO in North of Las Vegas. I think it is at area 51. Why not people sue area 51 for nuclear?

The helicopter rides are awesome. there will be turbulance at some time but other than that, all the times Iwent on the helicopter rides were all smooth sailing, sometimes it felt like you were on an elevator goin g up and down but , other than that,the ride was awesome.

no, not usually bumpy are scarey. noisy without earphones. just a terrific way to get a view of things. very different than a plane. chopper ride is nice and different. great view. don't be the least bit nervous. not at all like a roller coaster. you will hate it when it lands.

driving in a "chopper" is great! this is totally exciting even however this is noisy & "shakey" (alot of vibration!) in a smaller helicopter. the bigger business enterprise helicopters are rather comfortable aside from the touchdown which would be slightly "tough" if the pilot contraptions it down too quickly. choose for it! and revel interior the journey!

Screw Maverick. Papillon is a good company and their rides aren't bumpy unless it's windy. Great prices, great service. Yup, Papillon is the way to go.

Yeah its bumpy and you feel like your suspended from above and every time the rotor chops you bump, its really weird, abit of a rush though
