I think that we all need to realize who we are, what we've chosen to become and know that other people will view us the way that they will view us. If there is a stereotype that sums up the kind of person that I have become or that I was to start with, I usually embrace it and make fun of it myself before anyone has the opportunity to. I think that there is too much pride in this world. I think that we all need to sit back and realize that nature isn't perfect and neither should we strive for perfection. I think that we should all be able to laugh at ourselves at least while everyone else is laughing at us and show everyone that we have a good since of humor about who we are.

Relax. We all organize information in our head to make it manageable. We "stereotype" golden retrievers as gentle, poodles as hyper, and rotweilers are viscious. The problem with the article is that it wants to prove that people automatically act upon information they have stored. They assume it is a "stereotype" that leads to discrimination. Some landlords don't rent to pet owners based on a :"stereotype" that pet owners destroy property. Just let it go. The media is dedicated to finding prejudice and quite frankly making it stay

In order to eliminate steryotypes you would have to teach everyone to re-examin everything they had been taught. Change the perspective people have on each other. Individuality is good. You don't have to be the majority, it is ok to be the minority. Show more empathy towards others. Last but not least, teach more self esteem and confidence. If you are satisfied with your own image then other people's images won't matter as much.

Stereotyping is a form of prejudice. Prejudice is innate. There isn't any cure for it. People that continually look to end stereotyping may be better off spending their time looking for a cure for aids. These same people probably wont find a cure for aids and they'll never end stereotyping. I don't want to be negative, but the truth is the truth.

My friend, everything in life takes time. One minute, One hour, One day, One week, One month, One year. Time goes on and change is bound to happen, one may even say change is happening all the time, and shall continue as long as time does. 1+1+1=1. Love.
