I think it would be really cool, but I'm afraid I just could not handle it very well. Too bad, too 'cause my brother is the captain of a submarine in the Navy. He obviously did not inherit the 'claustophobia gene'.

I would if I didn't think it would be for a really long time. My husband served on a nuclear submarine for 4 1/2 yrs, and there were times he was below the ocean level for weeks at a time without seeing the light of day. I wouldn't like that. Confined spaces don't bother me too much. However, being elbow to elbow with large groups of people I don't know makes me a little nervous.

I would, if Fred D. Thompson were along for the ride. He could kick the ocean's a**.

Nope. And not in a closet or a cellar or any closed-in space. And I can't stand to be in a really crowded place like a store or church or sporting event either. Makes me NUTS!

My husband is claustrophobic and I know that he couldn't. He just had confined spaces training through the fire department and it just about killed him to crawl through a 14 inch tube 20 feet long.
