Fiskars are my favorite brand. I can't tell you the model... the normal model, I guess. Maybe they call them the FS-5000's or something, but who knows.

Singer, well known for their sewing gear makes excellent scissors. They are usually identifiable by their bright orange handles but as with any company they are following fads and making them in all colors, but those scissors stand the test of time used on paper products, hair, food, you name it, they do it and do it well. Any scissor will dull with time and need sharpening which is super easy with a 99 cent sharpener but the Singers seem to weather abuse very well!!!!

wal-mart has great sissors people there are really helpfull in telling what each is good for
