I found out that my twin sister had a 95% in her chemistry class, and I am a bit sad.. I wish I can have the 95%..Consequently, I feel sad for myself, and I am very very depressed right for some reason...I am gloomy and pessimistic..I feel as if I can't do anything right...i feel useless and dumb. I feel sorry for myself because I am afraid of chem..I can't do anything except typing this..I want to read a novel, but I can't stop feeling sad for myself.
I haven't take that chemistry class yet until the fall of 2007, but I am scared that I won't make the A because I am terrible in chemistry.
I want to become a doctor, and I am not good in science..
How can I get over this sadness? Am I ridiculous?

You are not ridiculous, this is something that's hitting you very hard. Instead of dwelling on your shortcomings, focus your energy on getting better at chemistry. Can your twin sister tutor you? Can you study the basics of physical science (if there are parts that you feel you didn't master) before you start chemistry?
If you want to be a doctor, you'll need to get good grades in ALL of your classes, including your science classes. So, instead of feeling sad, try and work on keeping all of your grades up. Don't let this one thing set you back.
You can do it! :)

Don't feel sad. Take this as a part of life. Everybody who does well in school is not happy. I can tell that from personal experience. I was top of the class throughout highschool. But my life hasn't been easy. It is not easy now... I come at certain times and think that is not fair, but I've learned that it is life. Trust me, 10 years from now you won't be looking back and thinking that you should have done things differently...
As far as being a doctor - if that's where your passion is go for it.... You will succeed..... There are way too many examples in history... And history does repeat itself....

Life is what happens, when you are busy making other plans.
keep holding on, if you like something and if you want to be something then i am sure you will work hard for it, its just the temporary sadness that is making you question your own quest. Just try to relax for few days, let your mind me stable and then take a decision. Cause when its raining its harder to drive, so, better take some time off, read the novel which you mentioned here.
And, keep posting question and do reply to question that help you define yourself.

Negativity becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. You are your own worst enemy! If you tell yourself that you can't do something then you start to believe it & you will act in ways to sabotage yourself so that you can't do it.
You have to start being more positive. Be nice to yourself! Don't doubt yourself. I'm sure you are much smarter than you give yourself credit for. You can learn to be positive. It takes practice (I'm still learning myself.)
Don't let fear & negativity stop you from going after your dreams. Starting today start saying positive affirmations: "I am smart. I am good in chemistry. I will succeed in whatever I choose. I am happy. I love myself." Any time you catch yourself thinking negative, turn it into a positive. Thoughts have power. They become reality. So make your reality a good one for a change!
Be positive! & don't compare yourself to others & be jealous. You drive yourself crazy. Just do your own personal best & don't worry what anyone else is doing. We all have different strengths & weaknesses.
Many of us have competitive natures & beat ourselves up when we don't feel like we're the best. It must be hard to be a twin & feel like you have to measure up to her. But you shouldn't feel that way. Don't compare yourself. Even identical twins have differences. You are your own person. Be happy with yourself. There will be things she will be better at & others that you will be better at. Don't worry about it. Don't feel sorry for yourself & stop using labels like "useless" & "dumb". Those sorts of words are weapons against yourself & they weaken you. Turn it around. You are smart & effective. You can do anything. Don't wallow in self-pity. Learn to love yourself.
I wish you the best. You can get over this if you want to. It just takes work.
I know how you feel.
Don't be your own worst enemy. Be your own best friend/biggest fan/cheerleader. Tell yourself "I can do it!" & you will. I promise you.
Take care.
:)

Choose one: individuality or conformity?
Which one do you think better defines an individual? You know the answer! I don't have a twin, and I find it difficult not to conform to others most of the time. So I imagine it would be much harder for you. But key is individuality! You are what you are with all of your traits, and that makes you a unique individual.
As for your future field of study, it might be better to talk to your adviser at school and arrange for a self-evaluation type of test that will reveal what you are good at.

Well if you really want to be a doctor, pursue that dream. If your not good in science, get a tutor. If you continually work at it you will be good at it. Either that or find something that you are good at and like, dont make a career out of something that you are pretty good at but yet hate to do it, you will be more misreable than you are now. Just keep at it not everyone can be great at everything.

in spite of you do, do not tutor which you care to you're sister! ya'understand, i've got been bullied around a great deal, and what i detect is, while you're taking each and every of the insults passively, the bully will ultimately strengthen bored of bullying. ignore approximately you're image and concentration on having exciting! do what you prefer to do, and in spite of you do, do not think of approximately your self as "grotesque" because of the fact (now this may appear reallllyy corny, so be arranged) this is not what's on the exterior that counts! i understand, you have probably heard that one million trillion circumstances, yet hello, its the certainty! you recognize, i understand soo lots of people who have been fairly insecure, heck, i grow to be one among them. yet whilst they only recover from their worry of what others think of, they grow to be the countless maximum suitable adult men (and girls) that i understand! some nevertheless carry directly to a pair of their lack of self assurance, yet altogether, human beings appreciate them. And in case you narrow back to rubble or something, and get 20 million insults hurled at you, purely don't fret with all of it. this is not appropriate what others think of of you! this is not the falling down it fairly is the failure, this is the unwillingness to come again up. And, once you like help, refer to somebody, pray to God, do not permit your self be unheard, whinge! ask for help! precis: some human beings decide by appearances. those human beings are to be skipped over. stay your life, and don't concentration on any insecurities. be chuffed!

no one asked to be born who or what they are, so there's not much point in getting sad about it. chemistry isn't everything. i can't say much to stop you from feeling useless and dumb other than nothing is written, you have the ability to take control, even if it means hard work.
