How does deep-fried betta fish taste?

Perhaps breeders should start selling a few hundred for a tasty meal.

And don't give me any BS about animal cruelty because I'm sure that you eat cows/chicken/pigs which are killed feeling extreme pain. I'm vegeterian - although I do eat fish.

Bettas are a fish - meaning they are below the food chain. And they have scales and fins - meaning they are a clean fish that would probably make a good sandwich.

Hahahaa youre quite the comedian.Thou need'st smited.

Betta will probably taste like crap, most small fish taste like crap especially if they are of freshwater which is what a betta swims in.

Why does it matter if they are below the food chain? So this implies that they are only useful for consuming?Because Betta's in the wild dont even get eaten much often, only specific birds[Thailand,Malaysia, etc].

They are beautiful fishes anyways and are more useful as great wonderful pets not an Asian stew.

Oh,and you are not a vegetarian if you eat fish.Just clarifying!

Well... first of all, I'm a vegetarian and I don't eat fish. Beside, Betta fish makes a beautiful pet, why should anyone eat it? But on the other hand, anything can happen. Like I didn't think that people would eat cricket, scorpion, and other similar insects, but now they do, so.... I personally don't think anyone should eat betta, but this is a strange world, anything can happen, yes....

i am sure someone in thailand tried eating them and there is probably a reason why nobody eats them. there are a few edible chichlids -- why don't you bother cichlid breeders instead.

they have too many little bones and not enough meat to put the effort into.
