That truth is something real, and not just an intangible idea, is important. Truth is a solid rock which cannot be broken by any means. But in the end, some truths are better than others. 2 + 2 = 4...that's true, but somewhat inconsequential in the broad scheme of things. Time and eternity are not the same, although we tend to categorize eternity as being "a very long time." The truth is we cannot fathom the true meaning of eternity, but our hearts yearn for it and we think we can capture it in our thoughts, in song, prayer, religion, sex, etc. That the universe exists with things in it for truth to be true about is the best.

The knower of this manifest consciousness is the greatest truth. We are that. This understanding lies beyond the level of the mind. The sense of presence awareness is the key to understanding this truth. "This moment exists, I exist, I exist in this moment". That is true, cannot be intellectualized and must be understood by sense or intuition.

We can speak of greater truths, but can we speak of the Greatest truth? Does truth exist in those terms? You are a truth, and so is a star and a blade of grass. You create your life. Knowing this is the secret of creativity.
-----the last statements may be some of the greatest truths we can grasp in our current state.
-----but, I'm open to the idea of a Greatest Truth...
-----'All That Is is within you' is the Greatest Truth right now, and that's what counts.

Whatever that Greatest Truth is.....it must be here! The answers above me are all somebody's truth.....and each of those people offered you their best truth.
They are a gift of momentary wisdom for you!
This is a reminder that you and I walk a similar path. We know the truth....but then we ask a new thing....so that we may learn more about ourselves and this truth that we already know and continuously search for anyways.
Call it an illusion or a circle or a dream....label it what-ever you like....but the Greatest Truth is within you and all around you!
Peace & Love my Friend!

that's what we all think- that we know, or are at least on the right track towards that truth
our souls are always there- Being the Truth
the mind however, it gets lost in maya and sometimes thinks it has the one and only Truth
my mind tells me that what my understanding of the Absolute Truth- the Oneness of the Supreme Being- does not even come close to the totality of what it actually is

God is the Truth and Truth is God that is the greatest truth of all. You are part of God's truth because you are part of his body, the church here on earth headed by his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ who also is truth made man to save mankind.
That God sent is only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to save mankind is GREATEST TRUTH OF ALL. Jesus represents God's Love because he is Love Himself in a human form sacrificed to cleanse the earth of the original sin.
