In other words, would you if your skirt or dress had wrinkles in them?

All cotton clothing has to be ironed.

I do not purchase 100% cotton. I like a cotton blend, or a synthetic. Wash, dry, hang, and you look like a million bucks every time.

I think what you are asking is: Is it worth it to make the effort to not look like crap when your man is around. I believe this is a common mistake. We wear our terry shorts and a huge t-shirt because "no one sees us". Except him.

I always try to dress nicely when my man is around. I put on my makeup before he comes home. (Not a ton, but, a little is nice.) He is the person I want most in the world to percieve me as pretty. What I lack in pretty I try to make up for with clean and bright.

It's just a matter of respect.

You have to understand that men are visual.

He's seen me after surgery, recovering from surgery and wearing jammies and a huge, unflattering robe, he sees me when I get up in the morning. He's catered to me when I got oh, so sick......I want most of these encounters to be Positive.

I can't be Nicole Kidman or Jennifer Anniston. I can only be my best. That's what I want for him.

Here's the bottom line. As I sit here playing on the computer, he has just arrived at work. He just sent me a text: "I luv you."

Get my point?

Yes. When men start walking around the house in a pressed suit, I'll lounge around in an ironed dress or skirt.

I don't wear things that need to be ironed.

Besides, I have 1 herniated disk in my neck with 2 more going, so pulling an iron around clothing is physical torture for me and can put me on bedrest for a good week.

I always make sure my clothes are ironed, my hair is brushed and i am clean, even if he's not home. When he does come home, a man wants to see a wife he can be proud of, not some slob.

If he wants me to go around with wrinkles in my dress ok, if he wants me to iron it, is ok too.

Yes, I don't bother ironing some stuff... Sometimes I don't even bother ironing my shirt for work if I am wearing a jumper over it or a jacket.

I think as soon as something comes out of the dryer it should be ironed and put on a hanger.

My clothes are always ironed, whether he's home or not. I like looking nice and well kept.
