I read a study, probably twenty years ago, that said statistically, lefties tend to die a little bit earlier than right handers. They conjectured the slight difference might have been the result of living in a right-handed world. That would cause left-handed people to be a little more accident-prone.
I don't know what credentials the writer of the article had, or if there have been any follow-up studies since that time, so it may not be valid.

Nowadays no, but if you were left-handed during the times of the Roman Empire, you would have your left hand bound to your side until you stopped using it. Doing this may have caused stress, and stress causes a shorter lifespan. However, there has been research completed on this very subject and thus far has been inconclusive on whether or not left-handers have a shorter lifespan.

nicely there has been prejudice against left exceeded people by way of fact before i became born. All i comprehend is it does not make my existence harder by way of fact i do no longer write i type. So i do no longer become under pressure in any respect. curiously it is meant to be somewhat perplexing to stay in a precise hand international being left exceeded. i easily am left exceeded i assume yet i've got learnt to consume, shrink and do some different issues with my precise hand. some adverse stereotypes are nonetheless related to left exceeded people and a few have faith we are much less geared up for existence.

based on some studies, it seems that yes, left-handed people tend to die earlier than right handed people but the difference is so small that scientists don't take it seriously

i have heard about that...
they say it is only a theory though...
it goes like this: they say that since the heart is located near the left side of the chest, left handed people end up straining their heart muscles more and cause the muscles more effort, writing may seem like such a minor thing but we do write many things and the day-to-day strain that the muscles suffer will eventually cause damage, not necessarily death.
