Steve has a packet containing 12 chocolates: 5 white and 7 dark. Steve ate one chocolate at random and then reached into the packet, chose and ate another.
i) Make a tree diagram to show the probabilities involved when Steve ate the chocolate
ii)Calculate the probability Steve ate:
1) 2 white chocolates
2) White followed by a dark chocolate
3) At least one white chocolate

1. Two white: (5/12)(4/11)
2. White followed by a dark: (5/12)(7/11)
3. At least one white: 1-[(7/12)(6/11)]

this is not a hard probability question. challenge us more with more interesting question. As for this one, pick up your book and read the examples, then come back amd do the problem. If you still can't go back and read and see what you did not understand until you get it!!!
