I can understand how you would feel that way.. most people young and old don't understand all our vets have done and are disrespectful towards all you hold dear and fought for.
Respect is hard to come by. But please realize there are some of us that DO respect what you have done, have sacrificed and have great pride in calling you OUR TROOPS.
I thank you for being a part of a greater thing... and I am proud to say Thank you.. I always do when I see a vet.. from any era.. and mean it. God bless you and I hope people treat you with more respect.
