Since this is men's health, I'll assume you are talking about males. Armpit hair is easy as you just lather up with soap a couple of times and use a modern multiple blade (Bic) razor. If it is really long the first time, snipping it down with scissors helps. I started doing it decades ago when on a performing swim team and have kept it up because I find it comfortable and am allergic to antiperspirants and find I don't need them. I shave my face while bathing or showering so lathering under my arms is only a little addition.
I would strongly recommend you skip the other part, having done it once out of curiosity. The problem is when the hair starts going back in and all those short sharp little points start poking that tender skin. You really have to be dedicated.

Regular razor is best. Electric shavers can be a problem under the arms. Just take it slow. Shaving under the arms can be helpful , especially, if you have experienced itchiness in that area. Shaving pubic hairs is probably not the best thing to do,
Caution is greatly advised in this area.

a razor.. if you get pain and irritation real badly then use moisturizer afterwards... also instead of shaving completely smooth like a baby's bottom shave down instead of up.. you dont have to worry about ingrown hairs and all of that .. doesnt itch afterwards because u dont have hair trying to break through the skin again

Beard trimmer. Doesn't get it as close, but you will not have razor bumps afterwards.

I have found that if I use a razor to shave those areas I put lotion on the places afterwards and i dont have razor burn.

Don't shave, use a good clipper set with a #1 guide comb.

use scissors to trim them first, then if you want them to be smooth, use razors.

and put on some lotions afterwards.
