I think of Christmas every time I go in our basement to throw a load of wash in the washing machine. I have to pass the rec room. Standing smack-dab in the middle is a 6-foot, fully-decorated artificial Christmas tree. No one has taken the initiative to take it down so...I guess it'll be there 'till next year.

When out and about, I am always thinking about Christmas, birthdays, etc. Whenever I see something perfect for someone I care about, I buy it. I also stock up on neutral and popular items that I can give at the last minute. After all, one or another gift giving celebration is just around the corner. I almost never have to do the last minute scramble and I don't have to budget for the holiday season!
Most of my family and friends act like they are annoyed by this, but never seem to mind when I give them something thoughtful!

Its never to early but for me I haven't yet but this year I need to start thinking about Christmas earlier. I need to buy my presents for people earlier and decorate everything so I can enjoy the holidays and not be in such a rush.

I have, but I haven't done anything yet. Two of my kids birthdays are in June and July so I need to get through that first. Plus I will be 26 this Christmas. Officially in my late 20's.

Yep. It's only 7 months away, you know. I've already planned to give my husband a portable DVD player and a hefty gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse. I've already bought the Christmas ornament for my daughter. It's a Peruvian ornament to commemorate her trip to Peru that she'll be taking in 3 weeks.

Seems I always start after New Year's Day every year! Good for the wallet to start buying a gift here and there during the year - spreads out the cost.

I start in January. I buy a few gifts each month, and I'm usually done by September.
