On-season MB is busy but not alot of tech jobs. Charleston, south or Wilmntn. north would have better professional options.

My wife lived there....I'll let her answer....thanks honey...Hi, I lived there for a year and I loved it...wouldn't mind moving back. There were a lot of jobs when I was there if you are willing to work in food service, bartending, the entertainment field(Alabama Theater, House of Blues, etc), stripping, convience/grocery store, small speciality stores(beach shops, Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach), real estate, hospitality(hotels),or construction. Keep in mind it is a total tourist destination. But as a hairdresser you should be able to find work. One response was it is "nasty" and I wouldn't say that but again lots and lots of drinking, stripping, and general beach life nonsense. So good luck...Wilmington,NC is nice and only about an hour north.

If you ask my opinion, Myrtle Bch, SC is a bad idea for now because of the beginning of Hurricane Season. When hurricanes from FL make landfall, they usually tend to head towards NC and SC. You should wait till' Fall. Sincerely, Kenny

Myrtle Beach is a nasty place, but if you like that kinda thing go for it. Lots of jobs in the summer, but REAL jobs are hard to come by.
