what site can i go to that doese not cost any money to find out if it has been wrecked

Call some of you local auto dealers.Ask them to run you VIN number thru car-fax. Most dealers have this service and will tell you if the car has been wrecked.

Umm carfacts.com gives you the number of "claims" it has on file, but doesn't tell you what they are unless you pay. See if anything comes up first and then decide if you wanna pay. Man, if the car looks good and drives good, what does it matter if you get a good price on it? Take it to your mechanic and give him $40 to give it a quick look over. then get in it, make sure it drives straight without you holding the steering wheel. Make sure the transmission is shifting without you feeling it. Make sure it accelerates without hesitation. test the suspension by rocking the car.

Anything other than that is just your luck... My mom's car was an accident car. It drives better than mine, but mine is newer and has never hit anything.
