Rosie was upset when the conversation started with Elisabeth. Rosie made a comment... more of what she later called a rhetorical question... She stated something along the lines of how many Iraquis that had died and asked "Who are the terrorists?" She probably meant that the current administration and the war were killing so many people, but her wording left it open to the interpretation that she was insinuating that the soldiers...our soldiers... who are there fighting the war are the "terrorists." She has since stated that it was NOT what she meant. In hindsight, she should have immediately answered her own question and let people know who she was talking about. Her critics were attacking her and Elisabeth did not go to her defense. Elisabeth did not answer and to Rosie that meant that she agreed with the people who thought she was insulting the soldiers. It hurt Rosie's feelings to know that her friend did not support her. That caused a fight on air and Rosie left. She would have been returning to a really nasty air of anger and bitterness. It's best for her to go. The argument should have happened off air where they could have talked through things. It did not and that is the end of Rosie on The View.

She was jealous of Elizabeth because she is an ugly cow and mean hearted whereas Elizabeth is softer spoken and not as rude and stupid.
Rosie wanted a physical relation with all the women on the View but couldn't convince Elizabeth.
Only Barbara Walters agreed to be her 'girl toy'.
I think Henrietta Hippo will replace Rosie O'Sama.

I hope that she gets her own show, if that is what she wants.
You'd have thought that she would have learned from the "Star Jones" experience that they don't keep their promises.
Isn't it part of her contract that she is up for Bob Barker's job once he retires??? Or, did they go back on that, too???
I don't know what happened, I was hoping to find out on here.

To anyone who says or implies that abc wanted to get rid of her, they need to get their facts straight.
Ratings were very high with Rosie on and they wanted her for 3 more years.
She wasn't fired, she asked to leave a few weeks early.
And I doubt they will find anyone to replace her who is even remotely as interesting.

She didnt get fired, she had a blow out with Elizabeth, then just decided not to come back for her final 3 weeks...she was leaving supposedly because they wouldnt pay her enough money next season. she is also supposedly shopping around to get her own show...rumor has it that the recent co-hosts are actually audtioning for her job...sarah ferguson wants the job and i think she would be pretty rad...

She left three weeks early - which is good news for everyone - the co-hosts, the producers and most of all the viewers!
I think Roseanne Barr or Whoopi Goldberg would be good replacements

She had to stir the pot before she left. She picked on the wrong person to stir with. Rosie even made the comment only 3 weeks to go. I bet you she knew what she was doing and she wanted to make a nasty scene to give her attention.

She was the usual, pathetic, crazy Rosie. She is leaving the show sooner than she planned.
