If so, what were your side effects and did it work for you? For those of you who don't know what Chantix is, it's the new stop smoking pill.

I have been taking Chantix for 2 weeks now...quit smoking on day 8. It has worked well so far. The only side effect I have had are wierd dreams. Good luck to you.

My sister quit using it, she smoked about a pack a day. She's been smoke free for over a month and doesn't think she needs to use the rest of her pills. But they are expensive (like 200 bucks for a month)

Hey Sal....
My b/f is using it as I type this and he hasn't smoked for three days. He's a three-pack-a-day smoker too (for 35+ years).....the only side effect he has experienced thus far is some tiredness. He hates to take medication of any kind...even Tylenol/Advil....but he decided to give this a try and it seems to be working.....he has a somewhat stressful job...AND...he puts up with me....so...so far so good....
Are you thinking about trying it? Me too :)

My daughter and son in law are on it but only for a week now. Too soon to tell yet.

i tried it and it didn't work for me and neither did the Nicoderm Patch either after i had it on for about 2 hours,my cravings came back and i started back smoking.real i know a real bummer huh.

i have a friend who quit smoking using it; two months later she was on the psych ward, - coincidence, I ain't gonna test it to see...
